Located at the end of Av. Larco, at the intersection of Malecon de la Reserva and Av. Armendariz. This park was created as a tribute to the community in memory of Second Lieutenant F.A.P. (Peruvian Air Force) Alfredo Salazar, who gave his life on September 14, 1937 when he prevented his burning plane in crashing in the middle of the city, preferring to fall in what was an unpopulated area of Miraflores.
In his honor, a monument created by Hungarian sculptor Lajos D'Ebneth, was inaugurated on September 14, 1953 which represents immortality, embodied in the figure of an eagle which is a bird tied to the indigenous culture that also suggests the conscious direction of flight.
