The museum exhibits objects that are part of the pre-Hispanic history of Peru, as well as others of a warlike character that the founder Miguel Mujica Gallo collected during his travels around the world.
It is divided into three areas:
- Gold: The work of pottery is exhibited, throughout several centuries of Peruvian history, mainly in pre-Inca gold, there are adornments of all the cultures like the untied nose rings, robes, bracelets, earmuffs and epilators of Vicus; Lizards, weasels, felines, coca bags, earrings and Belts; Pectorals with zoomorphic motifs, flat or embossed crowns of Chancay; Funeral masks, with twisted rays or serpents, from Ica; Masks with open and toothed mouths, wristbands, jambs, etc.
- Weapons: A trip to the past is made through the world and history. One can appreciate swords, handguns, shotguns, sniper and other pistols of Italian origin, spears and diverse weapons of various civilizations and cultures.
- Textiles: There is a great variety of looms, fabrics of feathers, glasses, pottery artefact and ceramics that represented the customs of the towns. As well as some of the mummified characters. We also find in the rooms of this museum weapons from 1,200 BC. Uniforms corresponding to men of war of diverse times and places, saddles of horses, spurs, armors and objects that marked history.
