Sanctuary of Santa Rosa of Lima

Share:

It was built between the 17th and 18th centuries, next to the house where Isabel Flores de Oliva, known as Santa Rosa de Lima, Patroness of Lima, America and the Philippines was born and lived. The enclosure in which the saint lived preserves its primitive style, very typical of the time.
Its rooms were converted into a chapel, respecting the garden. One of the most representative details of this garden house is the well of desires, which is visited by thousands of people throughout the year and especially on August 30, the day of the feast of the saint in Peru.
